At least there is one Dunbar player who isn’t going to the University of Illinois. Ugochukwu Uzodinma, a 6-foot-4, 245-pound defensive end for the Crimson Tide, committed to the University of Virginia Monday. Uzodinma took recruiting trips to UVA and Illinois and turned down an offer to visit Pittsburgh.
Uzodinma is the fifth player from the D.C. area to commit to the Charlottesville school. He joins Gonzaga’s Cameron Johnson, DeMatha’s Rodney McLeod, Georgetown Prep’s Colter Phillips and Fort Washington’s Devin Wallace.
