RG3 is coming to Washington.
The Washington Redskins acquired the No. 2 overall pick in April's NFL Draft on Friday from the St. Louis Rams by sending first rounders in 2012, '13 and '14 and a second-round pick this year to the Rams. In turn, the Redskins are expected to draft Baylor's Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick. The Indianapolis Colts are expected to draft Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the first overall pick.
Griffin won the Heisman Trophy after completing 267 of 369 passes for 3,998 yards and 36 touchdowns. On the ground, Griffin carried the ball 161 times for 644 yards and nine touchdowns. During his four-year career at Baylor, Griffin threw for 10,071 yards and 77 touchdowns and ran for 2,199 yards and 32 touchdowns.
