@onlooker

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

"I LOVE GOD" Rico's last post on Facebook.

Excellent job DM of honoring this student athlete! IMO Rico would've been a first round draft pick in the NFL. Mr. Webb you are the greatest of father's in the world and you and Mrs. Webb will see Rico again. Happy Fathers Day this Sunday Mr. Webb.

@DMwatch

Mr. Webb you were Rico's hero. He always looked up to you, as he always will. He was proud of you as his dad. Rico effected and touched many lives. Your son was honored and recognized as a STAR FOOTBALL PLAYER by every local news channel. He was denied this honors at first, but god made sure that Rico would be honored and made those responsible denying him eat their words.

Rico was the best offensive guard in the history of the WCAC. No one comes close to his physical play. This young man was allowed to play in only 4 games his Sr. year. In a interview on DCSPORTSFAN he was asked what are your individual goals this season? Rico stated it was to pancake all of his opponents. As I viewed his highlight tape  posted below I counted 40-60 pancakes. All DT's who lined up against the gentle giant was pancaked and somtime pushed 5-10 yards down field. The real amazing thing is he was only 16!!!!!! I was told by a dm coach by Brooks not playing this kid it hurt the recruiting for their other two starting OT's. He further stated Brooks, Breslin, and the OL coach I believe they call Espo intentionally didn't play Rico. They knew this kid didn't have any film, they wanted to make sure he couldn't get any D-1 offers because they didn't like Mr. Webb or Rico. The reason why is Mr. Webb called them out for bullying his son and not coaching him. It is more to this story but it's very shameful. All three coaches should be removed at once. As posted above they all ate their words.

@GC4EVER

Sorry but your post does not even come close to reality.  Your screen name also bears where your allegiance it.

I posted this as part tribute to Rico and his dad in what was a nice moment at graduation.  Not sure why you and others have to start nonsense. Shame on you.

Rico is gone and as a Dematha parent I know for a fact the young man believed in the school before he left us.

So take your bitter pill somehwere else.
