What are your WCAC Projections
Mine are
Good Counsel
DeMatha
McNamara (Yeah wow McNamara)
Gonzaga
St. Johns
Carroll
O'Connell
Of Course GC is going to win, thats obvious. DeMatha has tremendous talent on their roster and I think in his second year coach brooks can bring the team together. As for McNamara many people look too much at the past and not at what the team has. It has about a good amount of Division I recruits on its roster and one of if not the best D-Line in the Conference anchored by GT commits Darius Commissiong and Kevin Robbins. Gonzaga and St. Johns are both very good and both have a fantastic shot to make the playoffs and Carrol and OC just have shit going on that they need to work out.

Here is the deal:
1) GC
2) DeMatha
3) St Johns
4) McNamara
5) Gonzaga
6) O'Connell
7) Carroll
Championship Game:
GC-28
DM-20
Should be a good season.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Gonzaga has beaten DeMatha 3 times in a row and has the core of the team coming back this year. The only losses for the Eagles in the WCAC last year was to GC. 4th or 5th place for Gonzaga? Comon y'all can't be serious...

Agreed... Gonzaga deffinately has the potential to even be #1. With GC having lost its 2 best players and Gonzaga returning starting QB, Chris Shultz, along with many other greats such as Devin Butler and Miles Taylor, you all sound retarted having GZ 4th or 5th.... Oconell's for sure gonna win the championship tho... so whatever.

Check out the D1 recruits they have coming out of there the next few years.
These boys (in men's bodies) will be able to stop the run and since there are no Kevin Hogan's in the WCAC this year, McN's athletic DBs will be able to break up the pass.
Having a solid DLine and Linebacking corp can prove very successful in high school football as passing is not as successful and is usually a 3rd down call. Look at GC a few years back.
The O-line is suspect in schools like Gonzaga and St Johns. With that being said McNamara's defense will carry the team into the playoffs.
From there its a crap shoot.

Not trying to be a complete ass, but BM had those same D1 athletes on their team last year. Granted they are a year older, but does that mean the following will happen:
1. A reversal of a two touchdown loss to Landon and/or Gonzaga?
2. A reversal of a 31 point loss to SJC?
3. Only losing by 13 to a vastly improved DeMatha team this fall?
They are mediocre at best, mostly due to piss-ass coaching. That wont change even with a sick D Line. But if, they have Maya Angelou on their schedule 11 times, I foresee a somewhat successful season for them. But even then, they might struggle with Bevill as their coach.

if you play or coach at macnamara and you honestly think that passing in this league is not something you are going to have to defend against consistently this year then:
1. You have no clue how good gonzaga's and sjc's qb and wr's are.
2. you have not been watching the league, there has been more passing in the past 5 years than i can ever remember.
3. you are going to get eaten alive in conference.
i did not include GC in any of those mainly because they're too obviously good to state what they will do to macnamara

KJJ348...
I agree that the league has gotten better each year and teams are throwing the ball more. There have been some great QBs that have come out of the WCAC the past few years.
However, after thoroughly analyzing each team's players for this upcoming year, the only one I could foresee as a top QB, is the QB none of us know about, which is DM's new QB.
Bottom line my man, GZ will have a QB controversy this year between the two starters, like last year (bc the head coach lives with one of the senior QBs father. Also, which causes more controversy, is both QBs have similiar styles...i.e you dont have a wildcat QB and a true QB) which will be the reason for some early losses. Once they pick and stick with a QB they will be better off.
SJC's QB will be new and fresh...so we will have to wait to see how that plays out. SJCs offensive line will be solid this year as well as there DBs.
I honestly think McNamara will be a team that is the most improved team in the league, which will win them a playoff spot.
You are right with saying GC is too good to state. They again will dominate the league.

Hey Uh-Spade,
this unknown QB is the best huh? Is he a senior transfer like SJC's ringer from last year. If I remember correctly he was supposed to cook the conference's DBs...didn't happen. And now here we go again, homers crowning a kid that has proven nada against the DBs from GC or GZ.
Proven passers in the conference:
Marshall - 13 TDs 1468 yrds
Schultz - 13 TDs 1130 yrds
Post some numbers, (varsity games) from this unknown QB, if you got'em or are they unknown as well?

Hey Uh-TONTI-
If you look at my previous posts I am comparing this years QBs to Kevin Hogan types. Maybe I am wrong and there is a Kevin Hogan type in this class. I just don't see it.
Until then...your numbers are good my friend and you can't argue with them....however those aren't outstanding numbers...good but not outstanding...

Leave him out of it...what are you talking about? Aspade brought him into the discussion with the statement: "However, after thoroughly...the only one I could foresee as a top QB, is the QB none of us know about, which is DM's new QB.
So silverbullet, why should he be left out of this discussion when a DM homer proclaimed the unknown wonder as the best QB. To your comment: "He stated the facts". Who (Aspade?) and what facts were stated?

Leave him out of it means nobody knows anything about the guy, if there even is one. Unbunch your panties and wait until the season to debate this. Anything else you need cleared up?
