Beal will help.....but Grunfeld needs to go.
Beal is a good player that can score but anyone on this board could have made that pick. The 2nd pick will not play in the NBA for 2 years and is Veseley's best friend? Grunfeld just flat out can't build a team. The last thing the Wizards need is another European stiff that will not ever wear a Wizards uniform.
If the Wizards do not have a trade to ship this guy out this will go down as another wasted draft pick by Ernie.

First congratulations to Kris Joseph & Kendall Marshall from the WCAC! Now the Wizards on the 2nd round pick of all the talent out their why do you draft a unkown nobody never heard of. You have Georgetown play in your backyard every year for what? I am not a pro scout but I know I could have drafted a better player that is a pick that could have helped us this year. Boy how you going to explain this one Wizard GM?

they could have drafted darius miller out of kentucky as another scorer. or the could have drafted kris joseph. anyone instead of that czech guy.

This year, anyone could have made the first pick. As far as the second round he should have drafted anyone else taken after his pick. Chances are that guy will never play in the NBA. Why not take a flyer on.....oh I don't know....the best scorer/shooter left on the board?
Answering who Ernie should have drafted in past years is way too easy. It may be okay if it was just the drafting, however, the free agent moves are probably worse. A better question is what has Ernie done that has worked? He has had far too long and way too many chances to correct his own personnel and coaching mistakes IMO.
