The Nats also started 3-0 last year. It's five games. Relax. THey're not making the playoffs, but no one expected them to. They should still finish with a better record than last year. Give it some time. But yes, they do suck.

They are now 0-6. Great way to start. Keeping Kearns on the field. Good decision!

"Yeah the one that since the Nats have been here has finished with a better record once. The team that has not beaten the Nats in a season series. Yeah that one."
is that the nationals best feat so far? seriously that's pathetic, both teams have sucked but the o's absolutely show more signs of life that the nats.

This debate is stupid. Neither team is achieving any kind of noteworthy success any time soon.

who cares? the real team is just a little ways up i95
Yep. The Phillies are a real team. To say that a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 11 years is a "real team" is stupid. Are the O's better than the Nationals? Yes, but that's damning with extraordinarily faint praise.

the orioles are in a so much of a better direction than the nationals--its really not even funny. the o's could surprise people this year, they will be very competitive, next year they will take another step and i think 2 seasons from now they will make their playoff move like the rays did last season. the nats have no end in sight. their young players are quite honestly not very good and they dont have all that much to look forward to in their farm system. the orioles' young talent on the other hand is performing--adam jones, nick markakis, jeremy guthrie, etc. plus, they have a slew of highly touted prospects they are just waiting for, with wieters headlining but also some young pitchers in chris tillman and brian matusz who are both rated in the top 25 of baseball america's top prospets. andy macphail has the o's heading in the right direction, while the nats need to recover from jim bowden.

Actually The nats have 4 top 100 guys in Scout.coms rankings. Weiters is the real deal, but those other guys are just that prospects. And Aside from them the orioles dont have much else in their system. Most minor league rankings are based on top heavy talent meaning guys that are big league ready. I agree they they probably will be good, but when they get called up they will take their lumps like Lannan, Martis and J Zimmerman will. Keep in mind that Lannan and Martis won't be more then 4th or 5th starters when its all said and done.
The Nats are actually very talented in the lower tiers of their system. Guys such as Chris Marerro who had a freak injury last year can mash. Michael Burgess can Mash, Adrien Nieto, Jack Mcgeary, Derrick Norris, Destin Hood, Daniel Espinoza Stephen King, Bill Rhimehardt, Marcus Jones etc all except Espinoza and Jones are under 20. Espinosa is slated to be the Shortstop after Guzmans contract is up. He's very very fast and a switch hitter. Played at Long Beach St.. Much of the talent the Nats have drafted has been High School guys. Much more so then several other organizations.
And btw. Elijah Dukes Does not Suck, neither Does Flores, or Zimmerman.

yes, but in those same rankings, 3 of the the 4 prospects the orioles have in there are higher than the first prospect the nationals have. for the top prospect in your system to be a "3 star"guy is not good at all, especially for a team like the nats.

im not a fan of either team but the Os are so much more appealing than the Nats. Better ballpark, better young talent, better conference. plain and simple
