Potomac Defeats Sidwell f...
For the first six and a half innings of Friday’s Mid Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship game between the No. 4 seeded Potomac School Panthers and the No. 3 seeded Sidwell Friends Quakers, Potomac dominated to tune a of 12 hits and an 8-0 lead.
However, in the bottom of the seventh inning Sidwell began to show signs of life after Potomac’s starting pitcher AJ Kuhn surrendered an RBI single to senior shortstop David Steinbach and a two-RBI double to senior outfielder Elie Goldman, narrowing the gap to 8-3.
